Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals according to dietary requirements.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and recreational activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or family members.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not always required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A genuine, compassionate personality with a desire to help others.
