Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and record patient health status, including vital signs and medication reminders.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff or case manager.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands when required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but willing to train.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic.
