Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Implementing OSHA and CDC infection control protocols
- Managing digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Coordinating patient flow and sterilization processes
- Training new dental assistants on practice protocols
- Maintaining accurate electronic dental records
- Assisting with dental lab case coordination
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or state dental assisting license
- Minimum 3 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona)
- Expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification processes
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software
