Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to clinical staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of provided medical equipment
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties and patient laundry
- Transport patients to medical appointments using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current Texas HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with elderly/disabled
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation to client locations
