Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands using a personal vehicle.
- Administer medication as directed by a registered nurse.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate nature and patience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
