Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and accurately record patient health status, including vital signs and daily observations.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to prescribed dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families to improve quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks specific to the patient's care plan.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or CNA license required by state regulation.
- Valid Missouri driverβs license and reliable personal transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
