Responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
  • Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and observe their condition, reporting any changes to the nursing supervisor immediately.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing meals that meet the specific dietary needs and restrictions of each client.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and conversation to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness for seniors and patients.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up the client's living space to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or Personal Care Assistant is highly desirable.
  • Certification: Current Texas Home Health Aide certification and CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record are mandatory for transportation duties.
