Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation as assigned.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands, providing companionship and assistance.
- Administer medication reminders according to physician orders and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of daily care logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Florida Home Health Aide or CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
