Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nurse.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, including engaging in conversation and recreational activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and changing bed linens.
  • Transport clients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
  • Administer medication under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

  • Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
  • Current state driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
