Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nurse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, including engaging in conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and changing bed linens.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
- Administer medication under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current state driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Valid Social Security Number and eligibility to work in the United States.
