Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or physical condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and transportation to medical appointments.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Document daily care logs and incident reports accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
