Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare plan and licensed supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and client progress.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or CNA certification required.
- Current state licensure and background check clearance.
- Experience in home health or long-term care preferred.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to perform bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
