Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as directed by the client or nurse.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social outings.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition, behavior, or medication side effects to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring in and out of bed or wheelchair.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is highly preferred.
- Current, valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain them within 30 days.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
