Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, and walkers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing team to ensure high-quality care.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain one through our sponsored training programs).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
