Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document client status accurately.
- Provide light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and shopping trips.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or state-required certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting and transferring patients safely.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home health or personal care is preferred but not required.
