Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, temperatures, and blood pressure; report any changes in client condition to the nursing team immediately.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to specific dietary restrictions and doctor's orders.
- Provide essential companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life and mental well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings and assist with mobility as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification.
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient, empathetic, and professional attitude.
