Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary requirements
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to clinical supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to combat isolation
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping duties
- Administer prescribed medications as per care plan
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
Qualifications
- Current Nevada state HHA certification or CNA license
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Clear background check and TB screening
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in documenting care notes and updating client records
