Responsibilities
- Provide basic personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, daily activities, and changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to the care plan under nurse supervision.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or errands.
- Document daily care logs and report any concerns to the supervising nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home care, geriatric care, or healthcare assistance is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a caring attitude.
