Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
- Assist clients with mobility and walking using walkers or canes.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the RN.
- Administer medications and reminders as directed by the care plan.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clean criminal record.
