Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in the patient's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare meals and feed patients according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or PCA is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
