Your Role
You will work one-on-one with clients to assist with daily living activities and provide emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a safe living environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the nursing staff.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid CNA or Home Health Aide certification (FL State license preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- CPR certification is a plus.
