What You Will Do
Our Home Health Aides play a vital role in the daily lives of our clients. Your primary focus will be on promoting comfort and safety while delivering high-quality personal care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to combat isolation and improve quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (for clients requiring travel).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Experience in a healthcare or home care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
