Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with draping and positioning.
- Record patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and manage appointment scheduling efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting with attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not mandatory.
