Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse, accurately.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Administer medications and track dosage schedules under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities using personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Valid New York State Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screening.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a professional demeanor.
