Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient health status, including vital signs and medication schedules.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping related to patient care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community outings as needed.
- Implement care plans established by registered nurses and case managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Willingness to complete state-required Home Health Aide training and certification.
