Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing support.
- Assist with mobility, transferring, and positioning patients safely to prevent falls.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document daily care logs.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social outings.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
