Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in assigned clinical unit (ICU, ER, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Minnesota
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
