Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing to maintain client hygiene and dignity.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and serving to ensure proper nutrition and dietary needs are met.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily schedules to ensure client safety and compliance.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, vacuuming, and dusting, to keep the client's living environment safe and comfortable.
- Offer companionship and conversation to reduce feelings of loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social outings, or grocery shopping as needed.
- Document daily care activities and any changes in client behavior in accordance with company protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; prior experience in home care or personal care is a plus.
- Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
