Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor client health by recording vital signs, food intake, and behavior changes.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Administer medications as directed by the supervising nurse or physician.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Certificate in Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
