About the Role:
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide daily living assistance to patients, ensuring they live safely and comfortably in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean living environment.
- Monitor and report changes in patient mood, health, or behavior to the nursing team.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients from bed to wheelchair.
- Remind patients to take medication at scheduled times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA or HHA Certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
