Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and changing bed linens.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document daily care logs.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are met.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
- Current state licensure or certification in Arizona.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient dignity.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
