Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes, concerns, or emergencies to the supervising nurse immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging patients in conversation and recreational activities.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately and timely.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility using transfer techniques.
- Foster a safe and clean environment for all patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
