Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with daily medication administration.
- Monitor and document changes in the patient’s condition, behavior, or mood.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current North Carolina Home Health Aide Certification.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a caring attitude.
