Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to ensure client comfort and hygiene.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, or social activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition to the nursing team immediately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or CNA license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
