Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding clients according to dietary restrictions.
- Help clients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to the nursing staff.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and changing bed linens.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and transfer patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
