Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers and patient positioning using proper techniques
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments and medical equipment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
