Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
- Willingness to be flexible with shift assignments as needed.
