Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medication and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Mobility Support: Help patients move in and out of bed, walk, or use wheelchairs safely using provided equipment.
- Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning to maintain a safe living environment.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as directed by the healthcare plan.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with patients, families, and the care team.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Licensure: Current Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or caregiving is a plus.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
