Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transferring patients, and walking with a walker or cane as needed.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to help improve the client's quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Kentucky driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
