Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful conversations and social activities.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation and laundry, to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Observation: Monitor client health and report any changes in physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff or supervisor immediately.
- Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments or errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- License: Valid Texas Driver's License and current auto insurance.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and a genuine, compassionate demeanor.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or caregiving is a plus.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
