Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to clinical team
- Light housekeeping tasks and medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Companionship and emotional support for elderly/disabled clients
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA and agency protocols
Qualifications
- State-certified Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid MN driver's license and insured vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and TB screening
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds with assistance
- Compassionate attitude with attention to detail
