Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure patient comfort and hygiene.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics to ensure safety for both patient and caregiver.
- Monitor patient health by recording vital signs and reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to help reduce feelings of isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Administer prescribed medications and remind patients of daily schedules and medical appointments.
- Document daily care activities and communicate effectively with family members and case managers.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is highly preferred; willing to train motivated candidates.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Current, valid Driverβs License and reliable transportation are required for client travel.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and health assessment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
