Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client progress accurately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Follow care plans and maintain strict confidentiality
- Report changes in client condition to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature and patience working with elderly/disabled clients
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
