Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Provide medication reminders and document care logs accurately and timely.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities as required.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the case manager immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification preferred.
- Current, valid California Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, caring demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
