Responsibilities
- Provide basic personal care services to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with eating as needed.
- Administer medication as prescribed and documented.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to patient care.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and provide transportation support.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program (or willing to complete our paid training).
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and bending.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
