We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and eager to improve the quality of life for our seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation tailored to the client's dietary needs.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the patient's physical or mental condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) or supervisor.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation assistance.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid California license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs) with proper body mechanics.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for geriatric or special needs care.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
