As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, making beds, and vacuuming.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light errands as needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities safely.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
