Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Medication Management: Monitor and remind clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, client-appropriate meals based on dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Provide social engagement, conversation, and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Report changes in health status, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Active Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- CPR/First Aid: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
