Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and daily progress.
- Prepare and administer medication as directed by a nurse or physician.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and run errands.
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation based on patient needs.
- Document care provided and report any changes in patient condition immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA or PCA certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Current state driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
