Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding based on dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and changing linens, to ensure a safe environment.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social events.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to combat isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid California driverβs license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and assist patients as needed.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
