About the Role:
We are looking for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and eager to start immediately. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with feeding as needed.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying the living space to maintain hygiene standards.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any missed doses or side effects to the supervising nurse.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and accompany clients to appointments or social outings.
- Health Monitoring: Observe client behavior and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the care coordinator.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or Personal Care Aide is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Certification: Current HHA or CNA certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
